Hi There,
i recently got an issue with my iphone X . The issue is that the whole device screen turned black but phone is operational.
i got this device on Feb 12th and went into this issue on May 2nd. So hardly less than 3 months, i just faced this issue.
Got fed up and don't want to go again to i store. I tried various ways including hard reboot with below steps:
1. Press up button and release
2. Press down button and release
3. Hold the power/sleep wake button.
Above one also did not help me out. i am still facing the dark screen with phone is switched on mode.
Solution or Fix:
1. Switched off the phone completely with above steps
2. Connected to itunes and itunes detect an issue with the current system software and contact the apple cloud server
3. Apple suggested to upgrade my ios to 11.4 from ios 11.3 . Seems like a major bug in ios 11.3
4. Download the update of size 2.7 GB and then waited for 15 minutes to do the update
Finally iphone showed me the apple logo -> Heart felt and thankful to itunes which made it work.
